Case Study
The Cyber Advance initiative was essential, as WA Health was operating with significant cyber risks.
As part of broader contract renewal discussions, the WA Government secured an uplift from Microsoft E3 to Microsoft E5 licensing across all government agencies.
The Cyber Advance project was then established to leverage these new entitlements by deploying Microsoft Defender for Endpoint in Active Mode to both hospital and non hospital devices, strengthening the organisation’s overall security posture.
The project involved the planning, deployment, and optimisation of several core E5 security components, including:
• Microsoft Defender for Endpoint in both passive and active modes
• Microsoft Defender for Identity
• Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
• Microsoft Sentinel integration
• Microsoft Defender for Office 365
• Identity protection features across the E5 suite
